3M Diagrams

In this Micro diagram, I attempted to further my investigation of how my building could use an element of self-building as part of the rehabilitation of the residents. However, I am not convinced that it could be practically undertaken on the scale which this diagram suggests.
Whilst I have maintained an element of self-building in my final design, my strategy towards it has changed. I realised that infill wall panels, as shown above, would not really be feasible economically, when used in a temporary context. Instead these temporary structures will be free-standing, making use of the openable façade.
These structures will be made using recycled scaffolding pole, meaning that less expertise is needed to construct them.
