Initial Floor Plans
Eating area given in this plan is inadequate. By moving it into the atrium to create a shared eating space helps to build upon residents sense of community.
Landscape surrounding my building requires more detail.
These small spaces in between residential blocks allow residents to retreat away from public view for quiet contemplation. This should be elaborated upon.
Shared eating space can be revealed to public, by opening the façade.
Inefficient use of café space.
This room has been left for storage, however it now feels unnecessary.
Ground Floor:
Full Length Window in these corners could make for interesting spaces
Awkward corner
Benches in these corner spaces - quiet contemplation
Awkward corner
First Floor:
This could become a casual shared lounge space, with beanbags etc.
This room feels a little too small.
Instead of a toilet here, perhaps views could be given out towards the atrium?
This facade's positioning is likely to mean internal spaces will heat up very quickly, unless solar shading is installed.
More elaboration as to the function of this room is needed.
Public access to this roof? Creation of a garden.
This corner is a little awkward. Perhaps put a window and bench here to allow for views out to the opposite roof garden?
Awkward proportions in this room.
Movement of stairs for structure means that this door also has to move to allow for circulation.
Ramp doesn't need to be this big.
