STRENGTH
By breaking up the main central courtyard in the previous iteration, the housing feels less formal. As well as this, it offers the opportunity for each resident to have their own section of garden to look after. This could form a part of their recovery.
OPPORTUNITY
Use of separate space for all services helps to streamline the process of providing amenities to all parts of my project.
THREAT
Moving of housing blocks helped to break up the plan a little bit, but it still feels very formal and a bit block-like.
OPPORTUNITY
Consider how these blocks could fit together and connect to form multifunctional spaces. The residents could move walls and merge rooms as their personal rehabilitation progresses.
WEAKNESS
This design feels like a collection of buildings which are not related to each other. How could they be connected more through the plan?
