Iteration 4
STRENGTH
Rotating these blocks makes for a more interesting plan.
STRENGTH
Creation of outside spaces for socialisation and counselling, outside of the garden spaces already present.
OPPORTUNITY
Make more of externally located green space to draw members of the public in, ensuring that residents and the local community can form an effective dialogue.
Louvres could be used to create privacy for residents, something important if they are facing out onto a busy street.
STRENGTH
Series of sky bridges with habitation to connect residential blocks, ensuring cross socialisation.
THREAT
Careful that these bridges don't make the courtyard space feel dark.
THREAT
Placing the café at the back of the site may make it less accessible to the public and thus reduce instances of passing trade.
Moving the café to the front of the site would enable me to engage more with Stretford Public Hall and its residents, facilitating exchanging of skills.
